Upskilling STEM Talent into high school teachers
Come and join us for an informational session about a new and exciting program!
We are developing a new initiative to address one of the most pressing challenges in the Dutch education system: the shortage of qualified high school teachers in STEM subjects.
The goal is to create a pathway for people with a background in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to upskill and transition into teaching careers in the Dutch secondary education system.
THE PROGRAM WILL:
- Bridge the gap between highly educated STEM professionals and the local need for secondary school teachers
- Remove barriers that prevent international and career-changing talent from entering education.
- Provide structured training, professional development, and guidance for participants
For this program, we will work closely with regional partners in education, research, and industry.
We will announce our partner at a later date.
