During this event, international talent can discover career opportunities with HighTechXL ventures and alumni during the Career Expo. Meet teams behind deep-tech startups tackling some of society’s biggest challenges. Where will your expertise and skills make an impact?
STARTUPS & HIREPEOPLENOTPAPER
The start-up and scale-up ecosystems are great places for international talent to explore employment opportunities. They generally have a global focus, where talent with expertise from diverse backgrounds is needed and appreciated. At this stage of their development, the people factor is extremely important as they build teams who can connect to the venture’s subject matter and/or mission.
HirePeopleNotPaper is all about fostering connections between employers and talent. We will design an activity for participants to help guide their internationals with the present ventures to make the most of the event.

Are you interested in becoming an entrepreneur? In this session, you’ll discover how our Venture Builder Program is designed to help potential founders transform hardware technologies into successful startups. Learn about our hands-on approach to building businesses, including access to expert mentorship, industry connections, and tailored support.
15:00 – 16:30 | Extreme Pitch Makeover
Location: Greenhouse (Limited spots available)
Below your chair, you will find the names of your team members. You have 5 minutes to find your team.
Once your team is complete, you will receive an Investor Deck that is made by your imaginary colleague in imaginary startup filterY.
Unfortunately, your colleague has fallen ill and cannot perform the investor pitch that is due in 1 hour.
Work with your team to rework the pitch.
You will be pitching in 1 hour from now.
17.00 – 18.00 | Drinks
Location: Main office hall
Wrap up your day with a networking session over drinks and snacks.
