As the world of work evolves, so must the way we approach recruitment.

Recently, we convened a Including You session with a powerful group of early-adopters committed to reshaping the future of hiring in Brainport. This gathering wasn’t just another meeting — it was a strategic step toward co-creating recruitment models that are innovative, inclusive, and ready for tomorrow’s talent challenges.

Across industries, employers are facing the same reality: traditional recruitment methods are no longer effective in today’s fast-changing talent landscape. From technological disruptions to shifting candidate expectations, the need for smarter, more human-centered recruitment is clear.

In Focus

The session focused on four key innovation pathways that are already redefining the recruitment experience:

  • Gamified Assessments & Virtual Reality
Creating immersive, interactive hiring journeys that reveal how candidates think, collaborate, and solve problems — beyond what a résumé can say.
  • Skills & Aptitude First
Moving away from a credentials-only mindset. Instead, we explored hiring approaches that prioritize potential, purpose alignment, and soft skills.
  • Strategic Partnerships
From professional networks to mentorship programs and community initiatives, the right partnerships can unlock untapped talent and support inclusive ecosystems.
  • Learning & Development as a Brand
When candidates see that an organisation invests in their growth, it builds trust. We discussed how a personalised, dynamic LsD approach can improve engagement and retention from day one.

What’s Next?

We’re just getting started.

Including You will continue to host sessions like these, inviting committed partners to shape not only their own recruitment strategies, but the broader ecosystem we all share.

Stay connected as we spotlight more insights, tools, and stories from the forefront of inclusive hiring.

Together, we’re not just filling roles — we’re shaping the future of work.
