In 2021, three regional changemakers, Werkcentrum Zuidoost-Brabant (formerly Huis Naar Werk), the Living In program of the Holland Expat Center South, and the Expat Spouses Initiative launched the Talent100 program to upskill and connect international talent with the rising demands of the Dutch labour market.

Talent100 is a twelve-week career re-entry program designed to connect local international talent with the demands of the Dutch labour market. Every year the program aims to take 100 or more unemployed but highly skilled talents from any professional background and empower them through a variety of skill-building and informative workshops to return to work.

How Far Are You from the Labor Market?

Talent Tracks of the Program
The Talents, as the program’s participants are called, are divided into three categories or tracks within the program depending on how close or far their professional profiles are from the demands of the local labour market.
Career Discoverers

These Talents tend to be furthest from the labour market because their profiles include hyperspecialized fields that are often language dependent and/or require further training to continue practicing that profession in the Netherlands.

Kickstarters
Kickstarters are closer to the labour market than Career Discoverers. They possess in-demand skills in the Netherlands but need practical support to update their career toolkits (CVs, motivational letters, and LinkedIn profiles) to find local employment.

Women for Women

Women for Women (WfW) is a long-standing mentorship program that has merged with Talent100 in Eindhoven. It can also run separately. This track pairs female Talents with locally connected women called Ambassadors.

Categorization into the Talent100 tracks is done by the organisation team.

Talent100 is for highly motivated but unemployed international talents eager to re-start their career and build their professional network in the region.
